Just upset that there are methods that Are so inconsistent with the Recommendations of the most relevant Academic bodies to dog training when I Say these relevant academic bodies I'm Talking about Veterinary Behavior Organizations who make recommendations On how dogs should be trained for people Who don't have medical degrees in Behavior for people who aren't Necessarily behaviorists for people like Me who are just dog trainers they have a Position statement all of them do on how Dogs should be trained and so those are The relevant academic bodies I'm always Referring to like the American Veterinary Society of animal behavior The American College of Veterinary Behaviorists those are who dog trainers Are supposed to look to for guidance and When dog trainers unilaterally say man I'll take it as a recommendation but It's my view that dog trainers should Not have the right to supersede advice Like that because they feel like it Because they are engaging the public if One's doing that with their own dog I Think that's a different thing the more We educate people on the main dog Training methods hopefully they'll get Treated better when you're advising the Public to me those are the ones I take Exception with
