Do dogs outgrow reactivity well i mean Reactivity is kind of a spectrum so it Kind of depends on what is causing that Reactivity maturity certainly helps but I wouldn’t rely on it exclusively The things to remember are giving your Dog lots of exposure to things that Cause them to react but at a distance Where they’re not reacting usually the Closer they are to something like Another dog the more likely they are to React we also want to make sure that we Are desensitizing them in that process And doing this real frequently as well As counter conditioning finding Alternative outcomes to the behavior That is acceptable so when they’re good And they’re sitting and we do give them A reward but really understanding where The behavior is coming from and knowing How to manage our dogs is really key Management is the thing that gets Overlooked too often that is keeping Your dog under threshold so that they Are less likely to solidify these Behaviors over time i i hope this helps Good question
